Lucky Duck Games is thrilled to announce that from now until 11:59pm EST on October 1st, any uploaded community-crafted scenario will be eligible for entry for the Destinies Scenario Writing Competition (see full terms and conditions).
The creation of this new competition is part of Lucky Duck’s commitment to supporting current and upcoming community editors for their digital hybrid games. The Destinies Community Editor was just released, and allows Destinies players to craft their own epic Destinies adventures. To support and incentivize this community of creators, we are thrilled to be able to award cash prizes to the top three entries as judged by our Studio Team.
Additionally, 1st through 3rd place, along with any honorable mentions, will have their scenarios featured in the Destinies application for a week.
Throughout the contest window, our Online Community Coordinator, Carley, will be joining the online creative community in crafting a scenario. She will be streaming how-to videos as she crafts a scenario live with the Lucky Duck Community throughout June, July, and August in order to help support creators and showcase just how easy it is to get started.
These videos will cover all the basics of scenario design from crafting characters to implementing elaborate finales. She will first go over the essential parts of how to build each part of a scenario, before crafting her own live with audience participation. Each stream will be uploaded to use as a reference as other users navigate the editor (providing written and video guidelines). Join Carley on the Lucky Duck Twitch or Facebook channel.
Thank you for your interest in the Destinies Scenario Writing Competition! These terms of use set out important information applicable to the competition so please read them carefully.
